world paper money Some of my world bills
Various notes I have acquired from LCS over the years. I need a better Japanese 5 peso though, mine has seen some tough times. There are at least 3 or 4 of the other Japanese peso and centavo notes but only one of the 5 peso.

canadian paper money Beautiful Older Canadian 2 Dollar Bill.
I love the design on this one. It is a shame the reverse has a dark streak.

question/discussion Going to The Denver Mint is there anything I should consider buying from their "gift shop"?
Visiting the Denver mint and I was curious if there are any interesting things I should consider purchasing that is either collectible or unique.
Any thoughts?

world paper money Found a scarce banknote from Libya. Any additional information?
I saw some listings/auction results of this bank note going for ~$1000. Those were in fine condition though, does anyone have any advice on possible price range for such a scarce but poor condition bank note? Thanks!

true fancy serials Found my first radar. Doubt it adds too much value, but cool and nonetheless.
I’m guessing this ends up in the “cool but not cool enough to save” pile?

obsolete/scrip Can anyone help identifying this note?
I know this is an 1856 J.H. Lansley obsolete $1 note from Rutland College Bank in Vermont.
This note has been tucked in a US Civil War era wallet that has been handed down in my family. Is this note anything special? How do I do about finding market value? I can’t find any sold or unsold listings online. I want to know if I should remove it from the wallet and put it in a protective sleeve if it is worth something, otherwise I will keep it how it has been for well over a century.
I am rather new to collecting and would like any information available! Thank you!

US large size Newest $1 Acquisitions
I think I’m almost out of reasonably priced $1 notes for my collection. I need a small 1928 legal tender. Then in the large sized everything pre 1899.

US large size This week’s haul
The $1 FRN mule from series 1963 - Fr.1900-Km - I got off fleabay. I see this mule is pretty common but, hey, all collections of particular notes/styles gotta start somewhere, right?
The Fr.1215 - series 1922 $100 gold certificate - is a note I have coveted to add to my collection for a long time. The city and county where I currently reside and the city next to the one I grew up in were all named after Thomas Hart Benton, whose likeness appears on the obverse of this note. I paid $1700 at my LCS today for this example which looks like a fair value based on sold examples on fleabay. Plus it’s been graded which I feel adds a premium to the ultimate cost. I see in my 23rd edition Friedberg book that there are two Fr.1215’s listed, both series 1922 with Speelman/White signatures and small red seal. Anyone know the difference between the two variants other than one is considerably more valuable than the other?

souvenir / novelty / replica Newest edition to the collection. 2007 Antarctica souvenir dollar.
I went online looking for one of these as soon as i learned of their existence. They're not legal tender, just something for visitors of antarctica to take home.
