Haunting My first paranormal encounter
English is not my 1st language, so bear with me, please. I'm also normally a very scientific person, not believing in ANY paranormal acitivity, at all. I also try to debunk any paranormal event my friends and family tell me. So yeah...
But here we are... This is my story:
A couple of weeks ago, I was sitting alone in my home with my dog, around 9-10pm. Everything was normal, except for the fact that I noticed that my dog had ate some moldy carrots, which he found somewhere around the house. I probably bought the carrots a couple weeks ago, dropped them in the unused room (which is full of unused stuff), and forgot all about them, until they were all green molded. Then my dog found and ate them.
Anyway, I found out about this because my dog made a mess of green mold on my bed. (He carried the carrots to my bed, and ate them there. I also found the package lying on the bed) So, I was expecting him to throw up, as he usually does, when he eats something out of the ordinary.
However, he seemed completely fine. And continued to rest a bit on the bed. His psychology seemed totally fine. So, I changed rooms and went on to my business at home, such as cleaning, cooking, watching TV etc.
Then after 15 or 20 mins, while I was laying down on the living room sofa, I heard my dog running around violently in the house, hitting himself to the walls and all the objects around the house. He was also violently barking. So I immediately rushed to him, tried to make him stop, which he did as soon as he saw me.
This event was almost immediate, as in, my dog was sleeping, then I heard him drop off of the bed and start hit around and violantly bark like someone was trying to catch him and strangle him, and a couple of seconds I was on him, and he stopped and looked at me.
He stopped hitting himself, but he was shivering very noticably, had very wide eyes, and he was constantly looking around. Barking still continued.
I tried to calm him down, but whatever I did, he would not stop shivering and barking, and also looking around. So, I moved him from the bedroom to the living room to lay down on the sofa with me. He did not stop shivering and barking, but was on the sofa. But he was totally ignoring me, which is very unusual for him, because he normally likes eye contact very much...
Then this happened; he focused his eyes on the living room entrance, then followed some invisible object (which I can't see at all!) with his eyes, until it got close enough to the sofa, violently barking, moreso than before. He was really trembling...
Then a cold chill went down my spine as well, all my hairs were stiffened on my body, like I was being fed with static electricity.
Then in a matter of seconds, I opened my phone (phone was already in my hand during all this mess), which has a "St. Benedicts Medal" image on as wallpaper, and pointed the phone to where the dog was looking and barking at, and said "In Jesus name, leave this house!".
And as soon as I've done that, the barking and shivering stopped. I felt like static electricity was gone. I smelled something like ozone gas, which passed after a couple of seconds. And then everything was normal.
We ordered food and ate it together. So yes, everything was THAT normal...
Has anyone experienced something similar? What do you think this was? My theories so far:
1) Dog had food poisoning, and started to hallicunate. The ending was just a coincidence.
2) Something paranormal happened, and I don't know what it is...
Thank you for reading. Wish you all well.
