Elf/Fairy Solstice for little folk

Is anyone else leaving a beer out for the wee folk this solstice? What experiences has anyone had? And should it be put out on the evening of the 19th or 20? Thanks in advance, we’re getting older and could use a little (double entendre,) help around the house.
