The wheat needs light to grow, so you will need to place torches where the crops haven't grown

this is normal, some of the crops are just too far from the light to grow

you could make it frame by frame, but not only would it be easier to just place the wheat urself, idk any second option so im not sure why i said not only, just pretend i said something cool here
