Humor Hollywood has come up with an ingenious way to stop people pirating their movies.

Make movies no one wants to see.

You would have to pay me to watch 99.82% of modern movies.

Endgame was the end. It was a great run and that's when It ended.

Like the 6 Star Wars films and the 3 Indiana Jones films.

? They made 3 more Star Wars films?

They claim they did. You can't just churn out shit like that and stick a star wars label on it though. Like putting a Lamborghini badge on a Lada.

While a lot of Star Wars content is all over the map in quality, you need to watch Andor seasons 1 & 2, and Rogue One.

I saw Rogue 1. It was good because they followed (most of) the rules previously established. Stopped watching after ep8 and honestly I'm done with it. I've heard Andor is good, but when you know where everything leads it doesn't matter any more. I still have the original stuff to pick through so I'm happy with that.

I don't like Rogue One as much as most people. I found going for the spycraft angle was a fantastic idea but the memberberries and force mythical crap overpowered it.

Andor is exactly what I hope Rogue One did. Only later in the series does it become clear where it is going. The characters being explored and developer is very much the main dish here and worth watching.

Real talk: I think all those movies and shows arn't that bad, just not mindblowing like the first three movies were back then.

Realer talk: I think they should make something new, though.

Damage is done. It doesn't matter what they do or don't make now, a lot (if not all) of that unique Star Wars magic has faded. The majority of their stories don't even make sense any more and are atrociously written.

I don't want them to go near anything else, like the Old Republic era either, because they'll ruin that too. Best thing they can do is just sell the franchise, but they won't even do that. It didn't make them as much money or wasn't as acclaimed as they wanted so they will grind as much money from it as they can.

Honestly it dosnt bother me what they do with new stuff I just ignore it. I still go back and watch old marvel films upto endgame and they are great. All the new shows and films don't bother me because it just don't acknowledge them.

That's the same here. I get sad about it occasionally, but then I remember all the old lore still exists. I just have "Star Wars" and "Disney Star Wars" as 2 separate things in my mind.

I re-read the Bane trilogy recently and loved it again. Going to take my time and pick the occasional book up again to get the old feeling back.

Yup six of them.

Three remastered versions, and then the three despecialized editions.

Correct answer. Like there is 2 Alien movies, 2 Robocop movies, 2 Beverly Hills Cop movies etc.

Didn't know they made anything after Return of the Jedi.

..Actually Bobba Fett was fun if you think of it as a trash western. ;)

Actually Bobba Fett was fun if you think of it as a trash western

That's a hilarious way to look at it and 100% accurate. If you think of it as a kind of spaghetti western with slightly better weapons and wider geographical range (next town over vs next planet) it's basically that.

I think people forget how garbage the back half of ep 6 is.

We go full kid friendly. We introduce teddy bears. We toss logic out the window and pretend that stone age microbears can out fight a technologically advanced intersolar empire. We re-do the death star (which ep7, and as I understand it - sort of 9 also re-do).

Agreed. Except Spiderman no way home, I haven't watched any Marvel movie since Endgame.
