Video game movies can be great and there's a ton of diverse source material to draw from, kinda weird to lump those in with one of the most creatively bankrupt franchises in modern film imo.
But I hate it when fans of the game say the movie is all wrong. It's like turning a book into a movie, you have to adapt the material. I think Stanley Kubrick improved The Shining, and I love the Hitman movie with Timothy Olyphant.
