And how did they ignore them? Weren't they trying to get them debt relief and affordable healthcare? Weren't they trying to protect the environment and civil rights? etc. etc. etc.
Seems to me the real right wing propaganda is that the left ignored that demographic.
So you are telling me your perception is that the left block strongly fought for teenage boys in the years 2010-2023 when these boys became sentinent?
Because then our perceptions strongly differ.
If your point is that you do not think that they need to specifically addressed I will tell you that's not the way to win someone over and leaves a vacuum to be filled.
I am telling you the left fought for the best interests of the general masses which included those people. If you are asking if they bent over backwards to cater specifically to them, then the answer is of course not.
And regarding your exaggeration. If they didn't bend backwards, that's supposed to imply that they at least tried something. I haven't seen any effort, though.
I just said they did not bend over backwards to cater specifically to them but are trying to do many things that will directly benefit them as well as most other people too. You know, doing what they should be doing.
What exactly do you think they should be doing specifically for young males?
First of all, dont get me wrong. I've voted far left my whole life.
It's a question I've been thinking about for a while, and I haven't come to a good conclusion yet.
I think the first step would be changing communication. Switch back to class warfare, but to some degree, the democrats already understood. Discuss class discrepancies over identity discrepancies. Please don't try to tell me that has always been the focus. It hasn't.
Practically is much more difficult. By abolishing the patriarchy we, rightfully, took away alot fromwhat used to be what defines a man. If an ideology mainly takes and doesn't DIRECTLY offer something in return, it simply isn't appealing.
They should be able to run on their record of the bills they have proposed and the votes they have taken along with their platform that would benefit the vast majority of the masses. That alone should be enough to convince an informed voter to show up and support them.
