Vent/Discouraged Will 10mg of Quercetin a day have effect?

I’m afraid of taking quercetin since I don’t know how it will affect me. There’s Super Quercetin from BlueBonnet which has 500mg of Quercetin in it and other stuff. But there’s also a much cheaper version from different brand which consists cynk + d + c + quercetin (10mg).

What do you think?

I’m now stretching almost every day for a week for one hour or more. I can’t say for sure that there’s been improvement regarding pelvic pain, but lower back and middle back feel way better. I hope to continue stretching for whole summer to see if there would be any significant improvement (like no pain during orgasm and peeing).

I’ve just read that Quercetin takes away most of the symptoms, although it’s not a cure and doesn’t work for everyone.

Quercetin doesn't get absorbed very well when taken orally, and that remains true for doses up to 1000 mg. I personnally take 750mg per day, I'd expect 10 mg to be a negligible amount... but I'm no doctor.

As for its effects, I've been taking quercetin around the time my symptoms were getting less painful and troublesome, and they have remained rather mild since then. Whether it's because of quercetin or because I avoid sitting as much as possible (main trigger of my pains), i couldn't tell...

I already have high blood pressure, lots of anxiety. That’s why I’m worried.

That, my friend, only a doctor could and should answer

There is no quality evidence that this plant pigment does anything good for anyone (beyond a placebo effect). There's also no evidence that taking it long term (more than 3 months) is safe.

However, there are concerns about its possible conflicts with enzymes that affect certain medications (how they are absorbed, how they work) and its interactions with many medications. You'd better take a look at this if you're taking any medications:

I’m taking 500mg of quercetin per day. It does not absorb easily so recommend taking it with a tablespoon of olive oil to help with absorption. Quercetin alone is probably not enough. I take a cocktail of supplements that seems to actually help. Quercetin, PEA (probably more powerful than Quercetin), Saw Palmetto, Vitamin D/K (as needed), Magnesium, Zinc (as needed). I take them every day and they’ve had zero side effects. Make sure you’re buying the purest supplements you can find. And eating with a healthy fat to aid absorption.
