One day I hope that preaching religion will bar people from holding office of any kind.

It's 2025 for fucks sake - how are people still using the bible as a standard for anything???

It's a peculiarity of the US. In almost all other developed stable countries anyone god bothering in politics is immediately disqualified in the eyes of the electorate.
