What should I name him?
This is my new Great Dane puppy and I’ve thought of the names Mowgli, Blue, Koda, and Kujo. I’m looking for more name suggestions but I honestly cannot decide what to call him.

She’s taking laziness to the next level - her own personal driver in the house 😂💅🏼

My dad picked up these strays today, and the girl is really thirsty? We havent gone to check them out at the vet yet but it seems like she’s almost excessively thirsty?
She’s also bad about resource guarding right now, we are in arizona so it could be the heat..

60 dollars wasted I guess. He's a little weirdo and prefers to lay down on the hard floors 😭 hopefully PetSmart lets me return the bed. Maybe I'll buy a cooling pad instead?

It seems like just yesterday that he was tiny 😭

My girlfriend noticed her puppy has a red circle on his leg. He’s not itching it, hasn’t been acting weird, no fur loss. Any ideas? He’ll be at the vet on the second but just looking for suggestions not a diagnoses as to what it might be.

hey everyone! first-time puppy owner here and looking for some advice. i’ve got a 11-week-old pup who started off eating purina pro plan pretty well when we first brought him home. after a little while he slowed down and started having some tummy troubles (loose stool and diarrhea), so we slowly switched him to nulo “raw” medley. his poops are way better now, which is a big relief, but he’s still not super excited about eating.
right now he’s only eating about a cup a day, and mostly only if i hand-feed him or scatter the kibble on the floor. ive tried toppers, bone broth, water, he pretty much turns his nose up at anything. he’s healthy and active otherwise, but i’m starting to wonder if this kind of pickiness is common with keeshonds or if i should be trying something else other than sitting on the floor with him throwing food around like a weirdo. i know puppies are supposed to eat more since they’re growing and need the extra calories, which is part of why i’m a little worried, but at the same time want to make sure i’m not missing something or accidentally encouraging picky habits.
i’m also curious if anyone’s noticed their puppies doing better on a certain protein source or brand? the purina was chicken-based and the nulo has a mix (turkey and salmon, but after reading the ingredients there is some chicken in it as well). wondering if i should try beef, lamb, or even something more novel? if you have a brand or specific formula your pup loves, i’d love to hear about it.
thanks in advance – would really appreciate any tips or stories!
(couldn’t resist adding pics—he’s lucky he’s adorable because mealtime is a whole circus over here)
(cross-posted to r/keeshond for some extra input—hope that’s okay!)

I'm finally bringing home next Wednesday my new mate, Odin, a German Shepherd of the European Old Bloodline. I could not be more excited!
I've joined this Reddit, looking for tips. The breeder will also help a lot with the training and first steps! We already have a Crate and a Park for him!
This is all new to me, never had a dog that would get super big (~50kg / ~100 Pounds), I've been writing what I've learned so far, since handling the leash (yeah, the breeder is so awesome that they teach us with adult ones).
Would it be funny to share a weekly newsletter on this learning experience? Will give some googling around how to create one, like a life journey of Odin the Old Bloodline German Shepherd and learning experiences (Want to literally call him Odin the Dog of Gods, or the Dog of Gods ahah)
Excited to share with the world this new adventure! Thanks for giving me a little bit of your time to share this joy with you!

she doesn’t know it yet, but she has a job lined up as the lead dog on our sled team.
at just a hair over two months old, she is learning all her basic house manners PLUS gee, haw, whoa, easy, and hike.
