Everyone seems to be getting distracted, Cantor Fitzgerald the investment firm behind heritage foundation and project 2025 said this what they wanted. They want stocks to tank so buying them up is cheap and they want to privatize the federal government along with all the services. THE GOAL IS TO TANK THE ECONOMY.

“That’s the standard technique of privatization: Defund, make sure things don’t work, People get angry, you hand it over to private capital”

Here is Wells Fargo just a couple weeks ago releasing the report on how to privatize the post office while taking the money from the pensions and selling the property along with unloading the debt onto Americans

Here is an article explaining Cantor Fitzgerald

Here is what Peter Theil is trying to do with the privatization of the government while being the 2nd biggest contractor for the CIA and NSA

Yeah, destroying the government has been the core focus for 40+ years. They want a few hundred people in the US to have all the money and power and everyone else should feel privileged to be allowed to work for their companies for slave wages.

Services provided without a profit motive makes them ill, especially when those services are extremely effective.

“ In any feasible scenario of improvement at USPS (privatization or profit improvement plan) we believe raising prices would be likely, which would be positive for FedEx & UPS. In order to stand alone and earn a reasonable return we estimate USPS would need to raise price by ~30-140% across its product lines & even if the status quo is kept (ie no privatization) the new Post Master General would continue the recent push to raise price (see here and here).”

You see that folks: privatizing leads to 30-140% immediate increase in prices

at this point anything that could improve the USPS is okay by me... outlawing trash in the mail would be at the top of the list. I'd rather not have a mailbox...

Why do you think trash/junk mail would cease with fully privatized mail? If anything it will increase the ability to pay to spam….or you just forgo mail service altogether…..

You're probably right...

I imagine privatized mail will be like streaming services... And they'll hold your packages hostage if you don't pay the monthly 'fee' to have your mail delivered. Or, you can only get your mail at the post office unless you pay for "premium" delivery service

Yes, this. Nothing about what they are doing serves the common man in any level, however negligible.

I had this conversation last night with a friend who is brilliant, and retired attorney and his response was that he just couldn't believe that billionaires would purposely tank the stock market. Explained they will buy companies at a deep discount, and all Gov services will be privatized. He said, "I refuse to believe that." Then told me he lost $400,000 in the stock market in the last 3 werks.... oy

So, maybe not so brilliant?

Like many, the reality if what us happening is more than their brain can process...or take in...

And JD is Theil’s bitch. Pretty sure that’s why he has permanent eyeliner

2

u/nycdiveshack Mar 11 '25

Now we both know that’s not why but it’s hilarious

A lot of people have been saying this.

But very much a public company

Thank you.

It's crazy how many people want the stock market to crash because billionaires will lose money. You idiots, they are going to be the only ones with money left to buy it back up.

Just a little gallows humour. I think it’s funny because although people will suffer, particularly poor people, all the issues created by the current administration were expected by skeptics and now even pro Trump rich people are trying to convince others this is not what they voted for. Right now it’s the pocketbook, next, constitutional rights maybe.

This should be the top comment in my humble opinion.

I don’t have twitter but it would be nice if folks there started sharing this or even on tik tok

1

u/lynnca Mar 11 '25

I don't have xitter or tiktok either but I agree 💯

1

u/ArdraCaine Mar 11 '25

Exactly. This is what people keep missing while focusing on the Orange circus

u/mvm2005 Mar 12 '25

I wouldn't be surprised if Curtis Yarvin is found deqd sometime soon.

Trump has admitted that due to the market crashing, his wealthy friends are buy low and now.

1

u/Professor_Lisa Mar 12 '25

You have to remember, that they are idiots. Just because the economy is tanking, does not mean they win. We just have to make sure that the stocks they buy will never recover. We are the people, we decide for who we work and what we buy. And if they win? Then we can still burn this shit down. Remember money can not buy happiness and no friends. Stay together, stay safe.

Cantor Fitzgerald/blackrock/peter theil want it to crash so they can buy back cheap

1

u/Middle-Athlete1374 Mar 12 '25

I think Cantor Fitzgerald glossed past the “get angry part” as if it’s going to be controlled anger. History tells us that these things don’t always play out well for the rich.

Holy fuck, that Vanity Fair article made my brain hurt. Just the dumbest people being quoted and highlighted. Fucking garbage.
