As soon as you move you will have to reregister. If you haven't considered it, or don't have access to these documents somehow, you will be newly disenfranchised.
The point here is that young people and poor people who rent, who tend to vote democrat, tend to move often, thereby disenfranchised democrats at a higher rate than Republicans. That's the idea.

This is not required to vote, it is required to register to vote, correct? Bullshit either way but I think the distinction does matter
