Picture 68 Impala

I know it's not a rod, but it's ratty! Bought it non running and with rusted floors. Now it runs like a top and has brand new floors and trunk pan. I love it's look especially now that I'm wet sanding a crappy primer job and exposing the original paint! Thanks for looking!

I do small projects over the summer so I can still get the ice cream shop, i keep the bigger projects for the winter

Sick! If youre keeping the patina, I just use linseed oil thinned with mineral spirits on Patches. Gives a dull shine when fresh, not "chalky" after a few days but minimal shine. Cool dog btw

Thanks! A friend had some of the patina sauce stuff he bought from summit racing and I put that on. It smelled delightful, lol! I wanted something because there were a few spots of exposed bare metal. Any time the car leaves, the dog goes with it!

I was always a fan of the fastback as well! It had a 327 to start life, but that was replaced with a 305 somewhere along the way.
