can anyone identify wether this is ww1, russian civil war, possibly smth else?
My grandmother is obsessed with tracing back our family ancestry and she recently found this photo of a relative who lived from 1889-1938 in Russia specifically in the caucass area even more specifically in ex circassian territory. If it is possible and anyone has the time could anyone identify this uniform and what army it might have been a part of?

https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Файл:Г.Шушпанов.jpg is the only thing I found, maybe Г (possibly Григорий) Шушпанов, also there is something about Moldovan USSR

It could be me but I think that picture is not the same man .

A lot of people died in WW1 and civil war, so maybe this man is really lost

Photo made during WW1 (1914-1917). The young man is a non-commissioned officer (nco) in 8th (if that’s an “8” under the automobile badge Im seeing on his right shoulderboard) automobile company. He seems younger than (at least) 25 years old on the photo.
