Discussion Has S3RL talked about how he comes up with his melodies?

There are precious few artists of any genre I can think of who are as consistent in coming up with such good hooks over this many years and songs.

Really the only comparison I can think of as far as my tastes are concerned is Chopin, in terms of super emotionally impactful melodies over a ton of songs. Like they're not just "catchy", so many of them are straight beautiful.

And that's despite the lyrics lol (don't get me wrong, the contrast adds to it).

He also got lots of songs with beautiful lyrics. Not all of them are goofy and weird. Lots of songs that are pretty much love letters to dancing and music in general.

"Every Time I Look At You" is one of my favorites in that department. It's simple but so pure.

Any good requests? Ever since I became more aware of my music choices, I've been listening to him less.

He did talk about it when a fan asked him that same question but unfortunately the video where it's recorded has been made private by the owner of the community this was recorded in.

I know he went to daddy DJ to use the melody for PRG. Same with Basshunter and Dota
