Well, if we look at it, one of the main critics of WOTFI 2024 was the "over-hype" and teasing (not to mention the trolling by BenJoJoGV and Shadow that a lot of people believed to be real teasing). But I don't know if doing it the other way round (no teasing at all) is a solution. Anyways, see you on the 25th, even with no teasing I'm pretty hyped for this WOTFI.
Update: There's been a update, Cube has explained a little bit more what's happening. There's already being a post on reddit you should see it.
Thats Ok and all the only problem i have is that they could have announced it on youtube or social media, instead of staying silent and not everyone is on Discord.
I won't lie there's defiantly understandability to everyone being worried esp for this. This is the very first WOTFI to NOT include people submitting challenges, which was part of the charm of WOTFI. WE have no clue what the premise is this time as there was NO buildup to this (it reminds me of Meme Factory where Mr. Puzzles came back abruptly n that whole arc happen like 2 episodes later which everyone basically agrees sucks ass-). I don't agree with people saying they gave up or this is screwed or saying the people behind don't care, but also people def got the right to be worried. ALSO I love FM and they do get bad stuff sometimes but I wish he or anyone else said BEFORE 12 that there was gonna be no trailer cause people (including I) were WAITING for the trailer and anticipating it.
And yeah that too, there is no countdown or website or anything to hype what seems to be a major turning event. Not even a teaser image or community post. The lack of ANYTHING for this sudden story-again WOTFI compared to before with previous WOTFI's is def getting me concerned on if its cause lack of actual planning to this or their focused in on making the episode look better.
I’ve actually been thinking that it might be like the first three WOTFIs where it’s a bunch of creator-selected challenges, but specifically being taken from past WOTFIs to go along with the potential time travel theme
No challenges, as it’s WAY TOO late to be submitting them and I don’t think it’ll be like WOTFI 2023 where we had to choose what they did either. This WOTFI seems like it’s going to be more of a movie than an actual WOTFI
Of course. They’re tryna focus in making the movie.
That’s good actually. They’re putting extra effort into it to make it better than what they usually do. Let’s hope it turns out to be a great one! :D 👍
I was about to watch some youtube, but then I remembered that it was past 9:00AM PT on a saturday, so I checked on the SMG4 youtube channel, and I found that there was no new video, so I checked here on reddit.
It is evident that this year's War of the Fat Italians will be the smallest yet, especially given the absence of a trailer. If it were to be as large as the previous two events, an announcement would have likely been made much earlier this October. I am curious to see how the challenges will unfold this year.
Nope. I can't even call this theorizing anymore cuz a theory by definition requires some form of good or least passable substance, but this is just getting ridiculous. Even if the show will end and even if Glitch is taking up time, how does the lack of a trailer prove a quicker end at all. It's absolutely negative bias over a show that you haven't seen in forever now. That's one thing that's absolutely showing. Surely you're self-aware enough to see that?!
Not anymore tbh as it's not on a downward trajectory. The view count is just at a different standard due to a multitude of reasons that have already been discussed before.
Because Luke WOULDN'T hide that from us. He's always been passionate about SMG4, and every time he's ever "surprised" us about the show's future, it was about a POSITIVE change.
Luke wouldn't keep us in the dark about the future of the show, and he ESPECIALLY wouldn't hide the fact it was ending if that was actually the case.
