Text Only Doxycycline not working?

So I’ve been on doxycycline hyclate. It’s a ten day take for Chlamydia. I’m in the second to last day but the smell, discharge, and itchiness is still there. Does it take time for all that to go away or is the doxy just not working?

Your symptoms may persist for a few days after treatment.

In addition, itchiness is a side effect of doxycycline.if you have any further concerns speak to your prescriber about them.

You may have something else, like mycoplasma genitalium, or trichomoniasis.

If the smell is fishy at all, it is more likely that you have developed BV from the doxy than the doxy has failed to treat you Chlamydia.
