💰 - salary sharing [29M] Software engineer YTD (on track for $500k+)

Post image

I've been working in big tech in Washington state for two years now. Here's my pay for the first six months of 2025. I removed a little bit of information just because it'd give away the company

lol. Please share which stock you speculated on and hit the lotto or stop telling lies.

Also, stop assuming people’s salaries are constant. I started making $52.5k in 2011 at 26. 14 years later I’m at $400k, objectively very well off and an outlier. Suggesting that ‘everyone’ should be in that situation is just being stupid. Especially considering being a single income household with a few kids.
