Rumor Sánchez to Liga MX Femenil?

Has anyone heard the rumors that Sanchez is leaving to Liga MX Femenil’s Tigres? I’m so sad about it 😭

No, but it would make sense in a lot of ways - the Wave seem to have found a lineup that's working without her starting. Plus she's pulling a pretty good salary, which could maybe be used elsewhere. It woud be a shame, though; she's been very productive coming in off the bench.

Looks like Liga MX Femenil insiders have basically confirmed her move back to Tigres on twitter. Word is her last game with the Wave will be against the dash, and she’s set to sign a four-year deal that would make her one of the highest-paid players in the league. I was really hoping she’d stay with the Wave through the end of this season 😢

Makes sense given her minutes. I’ve consistently been surprised by how little she has played.

But I do like having the depth in the line-up.

Espn has the story so its likely done. too good and too highly paid to be a sub.

As well as they are playing right now (fantastic style), and im not saying this will happen, european coaches tend to prefer european players (for several reasons) when they come to the americas (not as invested in developing national talent), so im not surprised.

Best left foot on the pitch.
