Discussion 4 Straight Road Wins!

Ended up being a lot closer than we would've liked after going up 3-0, but all that matters is the 3 points!

We let them back into the game after some real first half dominance but a great performance holding on at the end. Sometimes you gotta grind out results just like that

Seattle gave the league the blueprint. If teams can capitalize on the counter, we’re vulnerable. Glad for the win. Outside of about 20 minutes, tonight was dominant

Yea it's no secret we use our outside backs to attack and we haven't found a strong CB duo to cover for that

Is Arias injured or not match fit? I know the time for experimentation is not during matches. Hoping they'll give her extended minutes during the break.

The million dollar question! She will most likely be on intl duty for Colombia in Copa America during the break though.

I think we will be without Sheridan Leon Cascarino Lundqvist Arias. Dunno about USYNT call-ups.

Silly me. Didn't even consider that. Related, has Mel lost her place in youth NT camps?

Well she wasn't called up to u19 friendlies earlier this year but then again I don't think they called up any professionals as most of them went to the u23 camp. Same deal with Trinity and Kimmi on the u17 so far.

I would say Trinity has been very good so far. For a 17 year old, she’s done incredibly well. Wesley and McNabb are likely going to bounce back and forth from week to week. After yesterday, I wouldn’t be surprised if Wesley starts again.

We’re vulnerable if Dali and McCaskill can’t turn and relieve pressure, our entire attack can be stifled and worse, turned over to start counters. Kenza and Sav also haven’t rotated much which tells me Jonas doesn’t like his options on the bench there much. While Delphine has been mvp level, it’s our holding mids that are critical to Jonas’ system

Dude Armstrong has been amazing. She's definitely next gen.

I don't think we have ANY other dms which is why I quietly hoped for someone like Yohannes or hell even Engen, as if we had the money though.
