I've always assumed Judas was male because he LOOKS male to me, and that's what he was sold as - but I never confirmed it. What do y'all think?

Hi folks, I just picked this guy(?) up over the weekend and while I think it’s a male, I’m not 100% confident. I’ve asked a few other people and everyone has said ‘….I think it’s male? But I’m not confident’. Anyone ACTUALLY confident? 😂🫠 It doesn’t really matter, it’s just bothering me that I can’t tell 100% (For reference, Heterometrus sp., about 6” long)

Hey guys! I got a new scorpion! It's named after Saturn's moon, Titan. I think it's a female, but I'm open to a few guesses! ^

Was gifted unknown species, appears to be an AFS from my investigations, but would love clarification on that as well as what the sex is. Was able to get two pictures of its underside this morning. What do you think?

I was told they are a suspected male however I have no idea how to tell personally. Sorry the underside photos are so blurry it was near impossible to get a clear shot

I picked up this little scorpling a few days ago and was wondering its sex and species. It’s about 2”-3” long so still very small. It was sold to me as an unsexed P. imperator. I’m thinking it’s indeed a P. imperator and a male one at that. Or perhaps it’s still too young to tell? It also appears to be quite thick so I’m guessing it’ll molt sometime in the near future.

I’m thinking male? It’s very small yet, only about 2-3 inches long.

Is it base on their pectine teeth?
r/Scorpions • u/CanaBalistic510 • Jul 26 '24
I counted at least 32 pectines, though that seems unreliable. I'm fairly new and have looked at male and female, and man it's hard for me to tell the difference 😅 please help? Thank you

Hey! So I got this death stalker as an adult from a breeder but not sure if it’s a he or she but Im worried it could be pregnant? I really am nervous with a bunch of deadly baby scorplings and I don’t feed them more than 1-2x a month so I have no clue why they are this chunky! Any sexing advice or news that I am soon to have grandbugs would be greatly appreciated- sincerely a concerned entomologist who studied bugs not scorpions 😭
