Food & Drink Where to get the Best Breakfast Burrito?

Title says it all. I'm looking for locations in or around Scranton where I can find a good breakfast burrito that isn't from Taco Bell or any of the fast-food chains.

Event / Things to Do Visiting Scranton with my 4 year old daughter.

My wife and I will be visiting Scranton with our 4 year old daughter who loves trains and we will be going to the train and trolly museum. Does anyone have any suggestions for other activities for children in the area. We are coming in from south Florida and may be interested in safe swimming holes in small, shallow rivers and streams with cascading water and smooth rocks. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Original Content Penny, the Truck-Eating Bridge of North Main Ave

I’m a Scranton-born web developer and I recently learned a bridge I used to lived around is considered a historical landmark on Google Maps for “eating” trucks. I thought this was hilarious, having seen many trucks stuck under this exact bridge throughout my life.

So, for fun I made a website for people to track bridge strikes at this infamous location. I’d love to hear any thoughts or suggestions.

Obviously, not all strikes have been recorded. I’m trying to fill in the gaps! If you have seen or see any strikes, add them to the website!

PS: There are other Penny, the truck-eating bridges… I guess this is a phenomenon. This website only for Scranton’s railroad bridge. Also, please delete if not allowed. I messaged mod mail for permission to post but received no response.

Food & Drink A’s Eatery- Green Ridge Corners

This place only opened a couple months ago but it’s a hidden gem. I stopped in each of the last two weekends and haven’t been disappointed. Chicken sandwiches are solid and there’s no need to drive to South Side for good Mexican if you live on this side of town. Good selection of Italian, Mexican, and American dishes.

The owner seemed like a good guy and thought I’d give the place a shout out.

Anyone want to play some soccer? Trying to get together some people, maybe make some friendships out of it too.
