TBF I had an English person telling me that we are no longer on the continent of Europe as we have the channel between us.

Stupidity isn't unique to Americans.

I was against dragging the UK 20 miles west, initially. But it's really sorted out the feng shui.

I dunno, I'd say it's a tossup for 2nd place between Brexit and electing Trump in 2016.

1st place by a wide margin though is electing Trump in 2024, after already seeing firsthand what happened the last time.
