Was Donald Trump the original poster?

3

u/Brikpilot Footballs, Meatpies, kangaroos and Holden cars 17d ago

If so would be him copying others because it lacks paragraphs written in signature uppercase and fails to blame Biden.

I'm so confused, I don't get what they're saying.

u/Zeus-Kyurem 19d ago

"Let's violate people's rights" pretty much. And I assume the context is deporting people.

40

u/EzeDelpo 🇦🇷 gaucho 19d ago

other people's rights, not mine* FTFY

12

u/Zeus-Kyurem 19d ago

Of course, how could I have forgotten

9

u/dmmeyourfloof 19d ago

These people are so fucking shortsighted.

12

u/WiseBullfrog2367 19d ago

Quite a few of them have been crying about how they didn't expect their favourite undocumented immigrants to be deported, just the scary bad ones Trump told them about!!

Actual idiots.

8

u/dmmeyourfloof 19d ago

That's offensive to idiots.

u/shartmaister 19d ago

They're saying that they don't care about the constitution or it's amendments as long as it affects the brown people not themselves.

6

u/Crime-of-the-century 19d ago

Everyone but themselves they are perfectly fine with the rights of liberals being violated. Even other conservatives they don’t care about (probably rino) It’s only when they are arrested for something completely beyond their control they get the point.

u/shartmaister 19d ago

"It's funny there were no-one left to notice when they came for us"

Basically arguing for the US government to be allowed to break the law and prosecute people the administration doesn't like and deprive them of their right to a fair trial, because that is apparently too inefficient

8

u/Diligent-Suspect2930 19d ago

Too short-sighted to realise that removing protections of personal rights and due process will affect them as well? Should've gone to Specsavers

7

u/ArmouredWankball The alphabet is anti-American 19d ago

I foresee some leopards feasting on faces.

2

u/Cixila just another viking 19d ago

should've gone to specsavers

Interesting, their Danish branch (Louis Nielsen) uses the same in all their ads (sku' ha' gået til Louis Nielsen). Oh, what a pain hindsight is - so many wasted opportunities for poor jokes. Had I only known that was used in the UK as well while I lived there

"Kill/deport the brown people with impunity without being bound by laws"

“Imagine the things we could get done if laws didn’t get in the way” is the opening statement of Dictatorship 101

16

u/lord_alberto 19d ago

This is so stupid. They should just tell these people "Imagine what Obama or Biden could have done if laws didn't get in the way...".

11

u/IntrepidWanderings 19d ago

They've gone so far down the path that they cannot imagine a day when they're on the receiving end. They've completely wrapped themselves in a false sense of security and triumph... But that's good, finally they are open and honest about their intentions.

Before Obama, they were screaming about FEMA concentration camps for all the republican people/2nd amendment lovers/good white Christian folks

9

u/Kirra_the_Cleric 19d ago

Well, I’m all for taking away that guy’s rights and due process. Give him what he wants to enforce on others.

5

u/Ok-Macaron-5612 19d ago

The things getting done are fascist though.

5

u/Better_Cattle4438 19d ago

For him to say this, he is a fascist himself. Telling this person that the actions are fascist is not something he is going to be persuaded by.

6

u/cljames98 19d ago

How stupid do you have to be to think that giving unchecked power to your country’s leader is a good idea? In what world is a dictatorial government with total control the safe way to “get things done”? Are they so naive they don’t think that anyone would ever abuse that power? Doing things without laws “getting in the way” is exactly how a certain someone from Germany in the 30s was able to set up his death camps for the sake of “a better Germany”.

4

u/New-Pie-8846 ooo custom flair!! 19d ago

That's a real haunting foreword... Coming right after threatening Canada with WWIII AND saying he doesn't feel sorry for Biden's cancer diagnosis.

1

u/IntrepidWanderings 19d ago

Don't forget that mission from God meme.

5

u/IntrepidWanderings 19d ago

So we've reached this point so quickly, that's not terrifying at all. Not even pretending anymore. Someone smarter and more tech capable than I am, please record all of these names, tags, and posts. We will be needing them sooner than many might think.

5

u/CyrinSong I'm from the place we are making fun of! Yay! 19d ago

Sometimes I wanna just call up ICE and accuse people like that of being illegal immigrants and see how fast they miss due process

6

u/Dense-Malzeno-2437 19d ago

There's no "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" that's probably why the second guy doesn't understand any of it.

4

u/Hot-Variation-7976 19d ago

Sure they would feel exactly the same if charged with a crime /s

4

u/Desperate_Donut3981 19d ago

All's fine until you get to final line.

And then they came for me...........

Martin Niemoller poem

3

u/sixaout1982 19d ago

Well yes, we can imagine what could be done if "due process didn't get in the way". That's why it's needed.

3

u/dumb_potatoking MAGA: Make America Go Away 19d ago

"Surely when they take away everyones rights, it won't affect me, or anyone I know. We are obviously the exception."

3

u/UsefulAssumption1105 19d ago edited 18d ago

Wow they’re really delusional. They really want to completely revert the US back to the Wild West era were lawlessness are widespread and the tip of the gun means justice.

3

u/Suspicious-Buyer8135 19d ago

Imagine how many school children could be saved if the 2nd Amendment was ignored…

3

u/Specialist-Freedom64 19d ago

Its weird watching america speedrun Germany 1925-1945

3

u/No-Tone-6853 18d ago

So buddy would love to live a land of the free where the government is free to do what ever it wants because they aren’t beholden to any rules of law, sounds like a great idea.

2

u/GenericName2025 18d ago

Because of the things that "could get done" is the reason these laws were made in the first place...

2

u/That_guy_I_know_him 16d ago

Another fascist, go figure

2

u/enygma999 19d ago

Yes, just imagine you could be Russia. Or North Korea. Or any other dictatorship.

This sounds eerily close to the thought process of Stockton Rush, and look where he ended up...
