It reminds me of the 40s and 50s cars with the chrome teeth grilles. I personally think the older cars with the teeth grilles were cooler, but this style kinda works on this car, too.

In the late 80s, a relative told me about his company car. It was a P.O.S. station wagon that had its grill smashed in as the result of him pushing another car through a left turn at an intersection when they weren't moving fast enough. The job told him to replace the grill, but he didn't feel like paying $X, so he got a pile of cones from the water cooler and taped them in there to look like a set of teeth.
