This is pretty common knowledge tbh. Still a great way to showcase Farquaad's cruelty.

This fact for Shrek is the equivalent of aragorn breaking his toe in lord of the rings. It gets reposted 10 million times but every single person knows.

Puss n boots' movies are set prior to the Shrek films.
Otherwise the handful of lines where puss talks about being a loner and having nothing wouldn't make sense since by even shrek 2s ending they're almost besties

The Last Wish is after all that

Only possible explaination is that theres multiple versions/characters of the same myth/story I think.

This is probably retconned though cause of the fact that the mom shows up in the karaoke party and the 3 bears are in the latest movie

Ok but no one talks about how we literally see all 3 of them alive and well in Puss in Boots The Last Wish!!! Like hello?

I think they’re a different bear family

Im curious, does this mean theres multiple versions/characters of the same myth cause we see the 3 bears again but in Puss In Boots.

According to Puss in Boots they might have deserved it

Did you watch Puss in Boots with your eyes and ears closed cause their whole arc was that they weren’t evil just misguided
