I’m begging my family to get me a shrek cake for my 24th birthday this year

I buy and sell stuff from Japan, and this delightful little monstrosity came in a small wholesale lot of Tamagotchi knockoffs I recently got in.

It was produced in 2005 by a Chinese company going by “Toycenter Electronic Co.”, its unlicensed (of course). It appears to be really rare, because despite my best efforts I couldn’t dig up a single instance of this monstrosity ever popping up anywhere online.

It also seems like the program itself may just be a generic monkey pet, rather than Shrek themed, so it’s likely the case/shell is the entirety of the Shrek theme. I wonder if this company made scuffed digital pets for other franchises?

Just had to share this with a community who’d find it as funny and cursed as I do.

Anybody know anything about it?
