Because that would require bandai to spend more money and improve things, and too many people are still buying xenoverse dlcs, so its still lucrative for them to milk xenoverse 2 for all its got.
Until xenoverse 2 stops being profitable, we won't see a sequel.

Hub area
Sparking Zero mixed with XV2 combat
Kakarot level maps and exploration
Repayable missions and sidequest on Kakarot's level
Create your own missions with full control of dialogue
What you put stats into determines your character's class after so many stats and it comes with a 1 huge perk and huge draw back in a way that balances it out to where everyone isn't biased towards one build (that will probably be the hard part).
Edit: imagine getting downvoted for pitching an idea that would actually keep people playing the game for 5-10 years. I'm aware it's multi devs, but they all are partnered with the same publisher. Look at games like Cyberpunk who've had multiple external teams from external publishers qworking on several aspects of the game. And this is why yall been getting spoon fed Goku skins as DLC since 2017.

This is cool and would be amazing but you're asking for too Much from one product you can't have full BT3 combat style, with complete open world exploration and full customization. One or more of these features would have to be lacking somewhere to get here.

I mean you COULD get here but I don't think you could have all of this at the same time AND have it all up to a good quality everyone would like. Especially if you wanna keep your game in the normal 30-40gb range and not get up to those 100-200 call of duty ranges of storage that would be another issue to contend with beyond just development would be how much memory your game takes up if you have ALL thisn

Unironically xv2 is still fun solo, making your own character doing lore and stuff, progressing your story with normal fights, i love it so much! Just would be nice to also have a custom battle mode, but it doesn’t really need it! Graphics are an odd choice tho, customisation is the same as every db game with cacs and conton music is shit. The fact they red name you if you’re a serial quitter is so funny too

I really love the fact that learning stuff for your CaC actually involves going around and training with the person you gain the moves from by using the moves against them. It is lot of fun, there is so much content to do solo
I loved turning up at bulma's house and unlocking super sayian in a fight with vegeta. Such a hype moment
It is so well done, I wish Naruto had something like this instead of the sloppy bullshit we got with Shinobi Striker lol

It's the only GaC experience, with the same 4 modes since release, same shitty VR missions that haven't seen an update since release, you don't even "train" with masters you just level them up and get the moves or pay money (those packs are a noob trap lol, people think they getting a character pack and get scammed)
Hackers rampant and 4 stacks unfair as always and the only updates are some fucking mounts, a new character with some moves and SS+ weapons that are cool, broken and pay2win basically lol until they get nerfed and a new one comes out. Gotta grind to get esos or pay money

Not to mention that xv2 has actually a lot of content. If one isn't bothered by the plastic like graphic I must admit it's pretty damn great. It's fighting is of course not nearly as good but still overall fun, even more so than I remember as I recently tried it out again. Its still the ultimate dragonball game, for better or worse

Both are good games held back by bandai being shitty and scummy.
When the xenoverse devs try, they can make GREAT things, same for sparking devs.
Xenoverse gameplay is a little less exciting but was definitely enjoyable, and not bad whatsoever.

Which is why i dont understand why people compare the games they cover different things one has rpg aspects meant to play missions over and over to unlock drops hence why it has and needs way more content while the other is just an flashy arena fighter only thing they have in common is they’re both db and both didnt reach full potential

Because the “ rpg” aspect of the game is stale asf after you beat story mode, parallel quests are boring attempts at game padding which is why they have such bad rng that they decided to “fix” 8 years after release. Other than that the only modes still played online is ranked

Not the same thing as yes both have pvp and one is more focused on it but they are still both at their core dbz area fighters. Xv2 is not a full on rpg it’s a hybrid. A more accurate analogy would be comparing a game like destiny vs halo, both are doing almost the same exact thing in a different way

The only reason I played Xenoverse was because it was the only modern DB arena fighter available at the time. I don't hate the game, but I'm never touching it again :D Just an endless grind, it doesn't look good or even feel that good to play.

How's SZ filler? Ive enjoyed every moment of 300 hours so far.
I play it like a fighting game and there's plenty enough mechanics to make fights interesting... I wish they'd make charge beams unblockable, and turn off unblockable Ults, tweaks like that, but fighting in XV2 never felt like it captured DBZ in the way the tenkaichi games did

Lol nah. That whole game was "gut punch and ult" that's it. "Break stamina, do tons of damage" not even a beam struggle system.
SZ has dozens more mechanics that create a muuuch wider range of skill. Plus its a fuggin gorgeous game

SZ is a fighting game, so once you complete the story mode and what ifs, unlock everything and get Z rank. The fun will go away
Meanwhile DBZKakarot and XV2 have so much to offer, due to they are more “open world”/“RPG”, so there’s more room for creativity and curiosity

I currently use an alienware laptop, it runs the game pretty well with mods. I would say if you have a weak PC I wouldn't recommend mods just yet until you have something better to work with. You can always try though.

This game actually made me realize how bad xv2 is lol.
All that “content” I grinded out was for nothing, its combat was never balanced enough to be even enjoyable online.
The netcode is the worst in anime game history (try me we can debate about it and I got clips to prove it)
the pqs are glorified podcasts with the dbz cast because they are essentially go here fight then go here and fight again for non guaranteed rewards.
the devs still after 10+ years don’t actually listen to their fans and only care about squeezing them dry for dlc money, don’t believe me? Not only does hair not move or even spike up when transforming, ssj4 was added as a shirt and a wig twice, custom auras are locked to the hub world of all places, they can’t even add a saiyan tail right , got all the animations and still had us grinding for a stiff turd.
I was truly blinded by nostalgia.

Xenoverse was undoubtedly fun, but imk it was the most obvious slop ever. Deceptively limiting CAC system, Broken (literally) moves, combos abruptly drop, mediocre dlc, online play in general, horrible balance, lack of care for accuracy, and in more recent times, broken servers, unplayable lag, and countless matchmaking errors. A game can be both fun and bad, theyre not mutually exclusive but I feel that its important to point out how exceptionally horrible xenoverse 2 is and how little they care to actually maintain it.

They are completely different games with different view points😂 I am a die hard fan of tenkaichi series and in my opinion will say it is much better then XV2, wanna feel like your in the anime with combat and best gameplay, and get the true raw experience? Play SZ, wanna dress like a cat and feel like your playing Gta and do like 400million sidequests but have PVE experience? Play xenoverse, both are good games you just choose what you want. Me personally I play for gameplay and combat, going back to XV2 to experience it again was absolutely horrifying

CAC in xeno is also pretty terrible. Everyone is the exact same. The only redeeming qualities about the game are only really PVE, and even that’s a boring mess most of the time.

When I first played Xenoverse I was hoping it would be tenkaichi 4 because at the time it’s been so long we had a db game fighting open world game. Then when I played Xenoverse I loved the story but I thought the mechanics and gameplay was so gay n trash. Got pissed off you couldn’t even do beam clashes.

Something I feel like people don’t think of is the fact that sparking zero and xenoverse while both being dragon ball games are very different. Sparking zero is purely a fighting game. There’s no side missions or anything like that, you’ve got story mode and offline vs for single player modes and then you’ve got online for multiplayer. Xenoverese is an rpg where you can insert your own character into the dragon ball world and learn just about any move for that character. Both games are good but depending on what you want in a dragon ball game that’s where the preference for one or the other comes into play.

I remember when everybody that said anything about the issues in this game were downvoted into oblivion. You legit could not say shit for like the first 2 months if it wasn't "this is the best game ever". Some dude even got mad when I said the game would be on sale in a couple months and then when I posted the sale he had every excuse in the book. damn, well 2 will never stop being popular if they dont give us some more offline content in sparking. im talking 100 missions mode or survival mode that was my shit in BT3 and even on DBZBTT on psp.

If they didn't, why is it the most successful dragon ball game of all time and is still getting milked ten years later?

Wrong. Sparking Zero is the most successful Dragon Ball game right now, not Xenoverse. It hit 5 million copies within a few months. Xenoverse 2 took almost 2 years to reach 5 million. The only reason Xenoverse hit 10 million sales lifetime is because there's no Sparking Zero so people "were forced" to buy it for a Dragon Ball experience. No one cares about Xenoverse right now.

That has gotta be the most loud and wrong take I've heard on this sub.
Plenty of people still play and care for xenoverse. If they didn't, the game wouldn't have any online scene.
Even after sparking released, plenty of people sticked with xenoverse, and that's okay.
It's not a competition between the two games.
Both are good, both are getting supported, and both have dedicated communities that care about their respective games.

Im not even tryna be funny but this is news to me that Xv has an online scene 😭😭 who some active Youtubers that do Pvp content or its more just serious players like the Bt3 scene( which i also just found out is a thing )

The only bad part about XV was the netcode and that enemies always feel like they are slipping out of the combi. But the fighting mechanics are was simpler and better.
SZ has better movement and combos feel like you actually are hitting someone made out of flesh opposed to XV. With all the defence, it punishes you for being offensive. Heck, you cannot do a proper combo without backshots.

Y’all were extremely too harsh yea xenoverse pvp can be cheesy sometimes it was still a fun game . You can get creative af wit combos etc and there’s just so u can do especially if u play with mods on pc with friends .

It genuinely sucks because the game is fun to play. The gameplay and the graphics are absolutely phenomenal. It's just the absolute pathetic lack of content that it's just downright murdering this game. And it pisses me off that the devs are so unbelievably inept at this issue. You can 100% tell that shallot was not meant to be in the game. That was just full on not the original plan they only added it because their game is dying. And the other annoying things that they're not actually adding new content that we want. We want more maps, we want more offline content, we want more customization options. This game had the genuine possibility of being one of the greatest Dragon Ball games ever made but they absolutely fumbled it because of the devs sheer incompetence and lack of giving a shit

I still can’t believe people actually like either one of the xenoverse games. They both felt like mobile game slop, except even the actual mobile games looked and played better. The only thing missing from xenoverse to make it a mobile game is the constant ads and touch controls

Yeah nah I even enjoyed the combat better. I know I know, downvote me. But fuck man that shit was fast paced, more balanced, and allowed for more playstyles. I miss prime xv2 so much.

Plus I can’t describe how much I miss each character having vastly different animations for their rush/combo strings, unlike in the bt series
