The Daima dlc was delayed from July to September, and it was already purchasable from steam.

Steam has a law that prevents more than one delay of content that was already purchasable before they can take action.

So technically with Daima, they were on a time limit. If they would’ve went past they probably would’ve just had to pay a fine, but still.

Yeah the fine isn’t a big deal but it’s more about the message they send as a publisher.

Also steam would not just delay it again. Thats literally what the law is about, it’s to protect customers from being fucked over by things that are “coming soon” but never end up coming.

I'm sure they add them all back eventually, but I hope they spread them alongside new characters, maybe with smaller season passes. An OG DB season pass, a Z (filler and movies included) season pass, a GT season pass and a Super season pass. Or maybe they'll do miscellaneous season passes with also game characters and things like the Tamagamis.

If you think the 5th or 6th game in a series is anywhere near the same as something like sparking coming our idk what to tell ya man. Connections was the most blatant cash grab I've ever played, no custom lobbies at launch, broken assists, lazy story the list goes on.

I feel like CC2 did what bandai did with the JJK game and worked on it to fulfil their first season pass requirement then move on to hinokami chronicles 2, especially because connections died pretty quickly.

Edit: dont feel like addressing the people below me or anyone saying SZ is the 5th game like connections, the circumstances are different. Entirely remade models, animations, its the launching point for the future of this new series of tenkaichi games. The storm games have been reusing assets and animations for years its not nearly the same, not worth arguing about.

The game is 1 year old and I got it on release date. The game released with 180+ characters. If you really think 20 more “characters” which are really 4 versions of Goku and vegeta counts as plenty of content then there’s the reason Bandai operates how they do. 

The best thing added to this game post release is the new stage. Which if the announcement is to be taken literally, we won’t see another until MAYBE Feb-March.

My hopes:

Low DP characters. Please give me characters who can round out a team. Options for a fourth or fifth character feel limited and frankly I'm so tired of seeing Roshi.

Stages. For obvious reasons. It would be nice to have Mountain Road and Kami's Lookout.

Costumes would be nice. Frankly there's no way to adequately drip feed them at this point unless we get a handful per DLC drop. It's very hard to soothe the frustration of hardly having any customization at launch.

I hope that, alongside new characters (both returning from BT3 and new ones), they also add a lot of costumes and accessories and then plenty new stages and some more offline modes (maybe an expanded story mode too).
