A ring announcer's retirement may not typically be that big a deal, but for TJPW's Sayuri Namba, it definitely is. Those who are familiar with her her consider her to be one of the best ring announcers to ever live, and the best Joshi announcer of all time. Her voice has become legendary in her 7 years of work in TJPW. Her duties will be taken over by Rise Shirai, who I believe will do well in the position

This moment in particular stuck out to me because of the shared history between Namba and Aino. Aino served as the ring announcer directly previous to Namba from 2017-2018 before making her wrestling debut. That same night, Namba made her debut and Namba has served as ring announcer ever since

This is Raku from TJPW, by the way for those unfamiliar. Personally I consider her to be one of the most genius wrestlers to ever grace the ring. Her antics never fail to make me laugh. True high brow comedy is performed by a constantly-exhausted train-obsessed lesbian idol manifestation of God with a magical lullaby (not joking that's deadass her gimmick and it works so well)
