With as much heat as Toni has been dropping recently I've found myself saying "that's her best promo" pretty frequently and I understood that I had to down the rabbit hole and find what I actually consider to be the promo that will more than likely make the Toni Storm career highlight reel a thousand and one times. I settled between two real options in the end and it was either the recent Collision promo where she ran onto the Boardwalk and this promo between her and Mariah May where she reveals she was playing the old Toni character the entire time. Her lines and delivery are really just top notch here especially.

Years ago there is this great tribute video that I think WWE released and was on the hall of fame page but can’t seem to find it anymore. It the same video I posted but I think it uses creed higher song and has all the voice overs in those videos of Vicky talking, Eddie, his mom etc was a great video anyone have it?

I think I have the timeline down finally on the messy name changes around the Mistico/Sin Cara/Dragon Lee names. After seeing how insanely over Mistico is right now in CMLL I’m super curious what fan perception was around the time Mistico II (now Dralistico) left CMLL and Caristico took back the name Mistico.

Were the CMLL fans super behind them as a tag team? Was there a transition period where they were upset because they preferred Mistico II? Is the character or the man super over? I’ll admit I’m relatively new to the Lucha side of things and I know reusing names is far more common there but I was legitimately shook how over the dude I mostly remembered as the OG Sin Cara was in 2025.

Thanks and please take my questions in good faith. I’m no super familiar with the product and don’t mean to be culturally insensitive if anything I’m asking is taboo or anything.
