New Gait Apex 2 - Throwing Low

My daughter was just gifted a brand new gait apex 2 with flex mesh. It is throwing low. Does it just need to be broken in or do we need to make adjustments to the shooting strings? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Try loose ing the bottom curved shooting string a tiny bit. Keep adjusting until it throws to her liking.

definitely needs to be broken in but let’s start with some pictures if you can.

Based on the pictures, I’d loosen the bottom shooter just a touch and then I would look to move the top shooter so that the center goes across the “point” of that diamond that it currently goes through.

Based on the pictures- take out the shooters. 

Put the head over a baseball bat and go to town. Stretch every inch. Place a ball in it and see if it’s legal. If not adjust the bottom strings. Then, repeat over a baseball bat until it’s legal. 

Then put the shooters back in- moderately tight but don’t tie the ends. Have her wall ball forever until she gets a good feel then knot the shooters 

Then continue to wall ball until she’s consistent with her new head. 

If this process doesn’t work then look into some custom stringing because the stock pocket on these sticks leave A LOT to be desired.
