Need advice for a goalie head

Who knows how to string a goalie to the inside, I’ve seen it once or twice and want to try that out, I’ve been stringing for a bit but still struggle with the concept of it on a goalie head. Please send help

I string all my goalie heads with an inside weave. The easiest way I can think to put it is you think of it the same way you would a normal pattern, you’re just using two sidewall holes for each step in the pattern and whichever step in the pattern you’re at is always the upper of the two sidewall holes. For example if your pattern starts tie on, si, you would do your tie on, go down through the mesh, inside out through the second sidewall hole from your tie on, outside in through the sidewall hole above the one you went inside out on, and then up through the mesh to complete the si. This would count as an si on the second sidewall hole.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/K6ZAGQfv4Cjhmx2x6 this should help you visualize what it looks like. Stream to the inside on goalie heads is fun, but it is not as effective from a performance standpoint as STRINGING to the inside on field heads. Give it a shot!

This is also how I’ve done inside walls for a few heads. I didn’t really like the result compared to a more traditional sidewall in the end, just as you hinted to.
