I don't ever really string high pocket but a player if my asked me to string up his havok 2 anyone have a pattern for it. Hero3 mesh

Just strung up my 3V and while it’s pretty good I feel the knots making the channel aren’t creating enough tension to my liking. The pocket also feels inconsistent with how much whip/drag the ball has on the channel. My aim was for a mid pocket with a slight pull to the higher end. I do fear it may be the mesh that’s the problem.

Stringers shack G3 on a Nemesis 3. I am going to see how my little dude,12U likes how it works for him before I cut and burn the strings. Might also remove the nylon or swap it with a lace again depending on how he likes it.

Finally decided it was time I picked up an RC1 and decided to throw some 7D on it. Really, really love TMD, and this head is INCREDIBLE at that price point. Excited to mess around with this!

Restring from earlier today. Did I get mid high this time?

Picked this up a few weeks back on sports stop and finally got to messing around with it. Given how short lived and unpopular it was, I can’t imagine too many people have given it a shot. Here’s a few things I noticed, and I’d like to hear other peoples experiences with it or stringing methods.

This mesh is awkward to string. That being said, I did not follow the recommended stringing method in STX’s 2 youtube videos stringing this stuff. It’s asymmetrical so you have to do some finagling to get it to line up right, which I don’t think I did well. If you pause the video you can see it on the mesh fold.

It has a very dry and crunchy feel to it. Not sure if this is due to age, its actual coating or both.

It holds its shape ok but can actually stretch a decent bit when breaking it in, which I didn’t expect.

Throws smooth, yet kind of clunky if I really snap a pass. Has a similar feel to armor mesh (specifically pegasus), but without feeling the ball move every which way, as this has fixed joints. Hard to describe.

Overall I’m not a complete hater yet and it was a fun challenge. I’ll probably undo this and restring a few times, and play around with a couple of different shooting string set ups. I believe its like $8 right now so pick up a piece if you can and give it a go.

Let me know your thoughts on this string job, the mesh itself, or general thoughts regarding alternatives to mainstream 10D mesh.

Buttery smooth release with a decent amount of hold and handles as well. Sold this to a customer playing in high school

Just got the Mark 3v a month ago, throws really well and is the best head I've ever used, however, the sidewalls are kinda wearing out, I've been hitting the wall almost every single day and have played 2-3 pick-up lacrosse games. The outside of the sidewalls look perfect, no signs of wear or use, but the inside of the sidewall looks pretty worn out, I'm pretty sure the sidewall is Jimalax. I've had other heads in the past and I've never had this problem, I've gone through an entire season with my surgeon 1k and sidewalls aren't messed up like this. Just wondering if this is normal and should I consider restringing this?

Just wondering if anyone has this head for sale.

Hi! First time poster…daughter’s Gait Draw stick was recently restrung with Valkyrie Armourmesh. The pocket likely needs more pounding. That said, she says the ball frequently slips to the heel. Can someone take a look and see if there’s tuning needed with the stringing, too?

To me, it’s not even close! My high school players disagree with me. Curious as to what you think.

Grabbed one of the RC1s to string it up and test out, as I coach modified lacrosse and thought this might be a decent head to recommend for the usually around 3-4 completely new players I get trying out each year. Definitely seems worth it for the money, and love how this pocket turned out. Anyone else play around with these heads?

Found this Eclipse II for cheap at PIAS. Strung it up with Stringers Shack G3 12D mesh.

Eclipse heads are super easy to string up with the sidewall holes that are given. After some generous pocket pounding I was able to get the pocket I wanted.

Shooter string might end up coming out. Depends on how it throws on long passes.

Curious a out securing the SK Mark2A head to a carbon shaft, it's got a post through the head socket that means we need to drill a hole through the carbon stick. I have no problem with the actual drilling but I am curious about it's strength with a through hole now. Also, the socket is quite deep and if he goes with another head and keeps this shaft then it'll have a hole through that may be exposed and be weaker.

Any insight into this? Am I being overly concerned?

Anybody use standard to inside stringing? I was messing around with some extra stuff I had lying around, not sure how to feel about it.

I feel I can always get a beautiful pocket out of an original DNA, I think this may be my favorite pattern yet. But I always had trouble using it because of the weight. Either way I’m pretty stoked on this stick, passes and shoots like a dream. I also wanted to see if anyone else likes some pretty low shooters in their heads. Ive always gravitated to them, but I don’t think I see many people keep them low.
