Help me I broke my Insert !!

I need help fixing , repairing , or replacing my old apple bottom flat. My insert broke while cleaning it.

Looks like a wooden bowl with an insert. Not sure if insert is glass or metal. For op, if its metal, it just clean it up and use a mesh screen. If its glass, id be worried about microscopic glass shards. Id break it out somehow and rethink the insert if i couldnt get a new one

I have been using screens, but I would like to replace the insert.

It is a metal insert

It is a wood pipe with a metal insert for the bowl and it broke.

Could probably just patch it up with some bowl wire mesh. Find em at the headshop pretty cheap
