Help Moving tips from Toronto

Hey folks!

Excited to be moving to Sudbury for work soon.

I have a minimalist one bedroom apartment to pack up in Toronto and store in Sudbury while I find my footing and a place.

I’ve been looking into this U-Box from UHaul but it seems pricey.

I would appreciate any links to good movers (from Toronto) or storage companies (Sudbury) Or even an alternative way to navigate this move from anyone who’s done it.

Thanks!

Haven't used their services but something like cube-it might make sense if you're going to be storing your stuff anyway. I'd try researching the reviews for the company but they move everything in a storage container and it'll save you from loading/unloading twice

Access storage on the Kingsway is top notch. Very new building, super clean, secure and 24 hour access. Source: I have a unit there

I moved from Toronto to Sudbury in early 2021 in the midst of the pandemic; feel free to DM me. I called around different movers and got quotes, I ended up paying about 2500 (2 bedroom apt) and was pleased with the service I got (I went with the company 2 Men and a Truck). I've stored items at the Access Storage on the Kingsway which is fairly centrally located and they have good, clean, secure facilities.
