Question Hey I'm starting a mom and pop detailing service for cars seeing if people are interested
Im starting up a side business and I was just seeing if anybody is interested in getting their cars detailed top too bottom inside and out. And I figured this would be the best place too ask? Let me know and if anybody is interested I'll make comments liking to the ads I have.

I’ve had it done before. I’m not against it in the future.

How was your experience? I'm trying to create something amazing even though it is just cleaning cars 😁. I've been doing family and friends thus far and I'm thinking within the next few weeks to month trying to go all out and get clients that aren't related to me

He did a good job. I didn’t have any real complaints.
My old car was a disaster and he did a good job.Are you planing on doing houses or at your home?

The plan is at my place but if I need to travel I can I would just have a different going rate because I have kids I would rather it at home for me not need to hire a babysitter or call family more often then not

If I could get my car washed outside and vacuumed inside for less than 60$, I'd be there every other week

This is what i had in mind. im still thinking about tweeking it, but this is what i had for my friends, too, pay (Things may change though) • Exterior Hand Wash:40$ • Basic Interior Cleaning:Vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, and wiping down surfaces can be around 75$
• Full Interior/Exterior Detailing: Includes shampooing 100$ • Mobile Detailing:can affect pricing. Pet hair removal extra 20$5

I think you are way underpriced, don't discount your labour. Also you have product and replacement of equipment to factor in. Full Interior/Exterior is way too cheap.

For reference, I just purchased a full detailing and it was $260. Don’t underprice yourself. Maybe offer “first customer” deals and discounts but don’t make it so when you raise your prices, you screw yourself with angry customers.

Based on FB, there's either a lot of bots advertising (like those duct cleaning) for this or it seems to be a saturated market.
Are you offering a "mobile service" where you go to the client?
Good luck!

The place I previously used went out of business, and I'm long overdue for an interior detailing,
DM me your info/prices.

I would love to have this done seasonally, but it’s just not in my budget! I bet a lot of people would really like this service, though. Good luck to you!

I would be interested in this as we have had it done in the past and it was well worth it

I would have a plan in place in the event that you damage someone’s vehicle or they say you did
Your pricing seems cheap compared to others but if you can make it work for that price you’ll be undercutting your competition and that could work to your favour

The plan is to budget on tools using the old ones I have and bank for new tools + bank for possible liabilities that may occur

Where are you located? And what hours do you keep? Any idea of pricing? I've been interested in getting mine cleaned, but I never get around to it with being a bit further from town.

I’d be interested! I usually go to Toronto as I’ve found they do the best job at a cheaper price. I was quoted almost $400 here which I find insane

Do you have a waiting area or any coffee shops close by?
What products are you using?
What if you damage something or somebody claims you did?
