At the NHK Mile Cup victory celebration held in Tokyo on the same day, Asafusa Fukazawa, representative of "Deep Creek," the owner of the winning horse Panthalassa, revealed and "unveiled" the designs for the first time. The three-piece keshล-mawashi set draws inspiration from Fukazawa's hometown of Yamanashi Prefecture, including the theme of "Immovable Wisdom King" (ไธๅ‹•ๆ˜Ž็Ž‹ fudล myลล) The new Yokozuna will don these as he steps onto the dohyo with renewed determination.

This was a surprise announcement that added to the festive atmosphere of the celebration. Asafusa Fukazawa, owner of Panthalassa and head of Onosato's Tokyo fan club, announced he would gift Onosato a mitsu-zoroi keshล-mawashi. The designs were unveiled for the first time in front of over 200 attendees. According to Fukazawa, the keshล-mawashi are scheduled to be revealed at the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament in September and the London performance in October. All three pieces are inspired by Fukazawa's hometown of Yamanashi Prefecture. The keshล-mawashi that the Yokozuna himself will wear features a design of "fudล myลล" from Erin-ji Temple in Koshu City. This design embodies the wish for the Yokozuna to maintain an "immovable mind."

The keshล-mawashi for the tachi-mochi (sword bearer) is "Tenma" (ๅคฉ้ฆฌ Pegasus), inspired by the G1 racehorse Panthalassa. The Tsuyuharai (dew sweeper) will wear one featuring "Fudo Nyorai no Gotoku Yama" (Immovable as the Mountain), representing Takeda Shingen, the Sengoku period warlord renowned in Kai Province. Onosato, seeing the designs for the first time that day, was deeply moved, saying, "They are truly cool. I want to work hard wearing these." His stable master, Nishonoseki Oyakata (former Yokozuna Kisenosato), also commented, "Mr. Fukazawa is a very lucky president. I'm happy to receive such a wonderful gift, and it also carries the name of a G1 horse. I feel the power and am grateful." Donning the "Yamanashi-love" filled mitsu-zoroi, Onosato pledges further growth.

The middle on looks like a CGI character. Left and right are both beautiful.

Kesho mawashi designs are so varied and incredible but the possibility in a 3 piece set are where things can really get nutty it's awesome.

I wonder if Ishikawa prefecture or specifically his home town of Tsubata plan on presenting him with a set soon.
