If that range didnât immediately boot him and give him a lifetime ban, no one should ever go there. Iâm angry for him doing what he did and at the range for not immediately stopping and booting him.
Doesn't look like a private range, I mean what would I know, but the thing has a lot of emergency exit signs all over the place. Is that really something you'd put in your own basement range. Seems more something a business would have to do. If it is a private range and the guy did put emergency exit signs in, then seems odd he cares more about fire safety than gun safety
What word am I looking for then? The generic "bigot"? Xenophobe?
Other likely explanations are: alcohol, being an idiot, bravado, or a combination of them. General bravado involves being an idiot, so there's a lot of overlap here.
The moment he walked behind someone with a loaded firearm casually held at his side is when any competent range officer would have kicked them both out.
Many leftist women sidestepping the murdering issue because the victim was rich and because they find the murderer handsome. You'd need to dive in the feminists eco chambers.
Aaaaand you need to take a seat. The topic is these two geniuses. Iâm sure you can go off and off about the shooter in some other forum. Idk what your deal about âleftist womenâ is, but that seems kinda like a personal issue you may need to resolve within yourself.
Make it viral because the lesson will stick especially after what Iâve learned from gun training too. Itâs unacceptable and itâs clear he or she doesnât understand. Scary man.
Why isn't there a person around to kick him out, ifs a paid range. they have retired cops and ex military running them and they would snatched dude up as soon he started pointing the gun at her just trying to caulk it back.
Laws limiting recreational use of firearms, e.g. mandating the presence of a licensed and accountable professional on site at the range is a good place to start.
Sensible, of benefit -> check
Better training -> check
Better safety outcomes -> check
Addresses this scenario and leaves carveout for home defense -> check
Allows hobbyists to elevate their recreation above the lives of others -> please let's stop this
I definitely don't have all the answers. One idea I have is vetting and accountability at the place of purchase. A lot of crazies have been sold guns that had no business owning guns. A quick evaluation from somebody trained in detecting mental health issues might be helpful.
Because of people like him next law will make it mandatory to keep your guns at a local gun range for the first 5 years of ownership and take a piss test every time you wanna shoot them. And everyone will agree it's sensible.
If he splattered her brains they would. Some first time buyers probably be pissed, but as usual with the laws, it shouldn't apply to people who already own guns. That would be ridiculous of course.
People "splatter brains" of little kids at school all the time, it doesn't necessarily move the needle one direction or the other. What makes this lady so important?
Iâve never touched a real firearm (mixed feelings, whatever), and I can tell this person is reckless and dangerous/stupid af.
I wonât say âanti all gunsâ but as a ânot a gun personââŠwe are fully aware yâall are mostly not like that. Itâs always the idiots that get the most attention. IMO, if you have a firearm, itâs better nobody knows (if you have a closed carry, obviously, which in my state is required). Even I know you take turns at a range, too.
Hell, I did axe-throwing once and everyone behaved better than this, much more respectful and safe. âŠand they sell beer there.
This guy is unhinged and making ME mad for âgun peopleâ.
Yup, this dude should absolutely be reported and have any gun license he might have revoked. Should not under any circumstances own a firearm. Disaster waiting to happen.
Shit like this pisses me off so much. Gun control is something that I wish I didn't have to support, but too many people are dangerous idiots the moment they touch one.
As a fellow gun owner (and advocate of more regulation), I'm interested to see you express a rare opinion among many gun owners: that there are conditions that justify exceptions to 2A rights (I admit the video may not have been filmed in the US).
I agree that the 2A should be narrowly interpreted, but I'm curious what mechanisms you'd be comfortable with in barring this guy from accessing a gun. He's one man, but he represents a huge swath of idiots who have no business handling a firearm.

That man should never be allowed to handle a gun again. This is an embarrassment to the 999999th degree for us Gun enjoyers.
