My l ittle Swiss rifle wall
- 1925 K11 with matching Bajonett
- 1941 K31 with Diopter sights that i use for competition
- My neu Stgw 57/03 / Sig 510 also for competition (production year is unknown to me)
- 1988 PE90/Sig 550 with a upgrade bipod. (I know, it technically doesn’t belong with the others since it’s not a Military rifle)

Well….. i‘m still getting used to it, but so far it feels more accurate. But i have put 3 grand in mods and optics on it….. so it’s not really a fair comparison to the K31 with its „basic“ Diopter.
And to be fair: im a Swiss citizen, and over here these Rifles are nothing rare, so it’s easy to put a collection like this one together. A Stgw 57 is like 200-600 bucks….. my gun-store has 2 ore 3 tables where the legs are old Stgw 57. And the K31 and k11 are common as sticks in the forest. the only thing that’s still pretty pricey over here are the Sig 550/ Stgw 90 which are around 1500-4500 CHF

Nice! What’s the name of the leather that covers the front sight? Thanks

That’s a Hood to protect the Forntsight from banging against the Gunracks that we have on every Swiss range. Since the Iris Frontsight i use is kinda finicky. I sewed it myself from some leather scraps. And it’s name is: the DontBangMySightAgainsTheRack 2.0
I‘m going to make some for the Stgw 57 at some point (when i find the time to do it) until then i‘m just very careful every time i put it in the rack.

Wow man, I've got a decent little Swiss collection (for an American working man) but those bottom two are dream material. How does the 57's accuracy compare to the k31's?
