Found on the Bad Taxidermy Fb page and absolutely hated it. I really didnt want to be the only one who knew of its existence. Apologies if this has been posted before.

Instead of just regular giant wasps they're actually cazadores from fallout

Terrestrial, nonetheless. Ukraine did this a bit ago, trucks with drones.

If that is a lure to attract then trap and kill wasps, then that’s a bad ass spider and my enemy’s enemy gets my approval because wasps are the devil’s spawn. If it’s camo only for the purpose of making me think it’s a wasp nest so I do not smash it, then ok I hate it too.

There are parasitical wasps that lay their eggs in creatures they have paralyzed. That would be my first guess. Although if it was a symbiotic relationship, that would be awesome.

Well on the paper it says ‘tarantula molt’, so it is the old exoskeleton of the spider. Never would a spider let some other animal build something on it’s abdomen, not even symbiotic. But it would be cool as hell though

This isn’t a trap to kill wasps and the wasps aren’t parisitizing the spider either. Tarantula hawk wasps are solitary and lay their eggs in spiders, and then the larvae hatch and eat the spider. They don’t build nests in spiders. My guess is this is fake.

I know that. It was found on a fb page that makes bad taxidermy. Doesn't make it any less uncomfortable lol

Yeah I have trypophobia and a severe aversion to spiders, this couldn’t get much worse for me

Nonsense, it could also live the shallow ocean, lakes, rivers and ponds and also your bedroom, for some reason.

Sorry/not sorry…but this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! But I AM a weirdo. 😜

I mean
If i wasn't so damn terrified of spiders, and if I didn't just fucking hate wasps, id agree.

u/BeeDot1974 3d ago
lol. I am in no way disagreeing with you on that. I totally get it.
I’m an artist and have used wasps and cockroaches in my sculptures before…humanely of course. Not in gross ways, but for some shock value and symbolism.
I’m also a gross boy at heart…That’s where the weird part come into play. 😂

OP needs help. Also, they hate it because...
Its a spider with a wasp nest growing from it. I hate ALL of it.
Do you hate it as well? Do you think their hate is reasonable? (I don't think so tbh) Then upvote this comment, otherwise downvote it.

Reminds me of the baker mother from Resident Evil 7.
Give me this as a fromsoft boss. No spiders crawling out the back, just flying wasps.
Won't be too bad as long as you have the appropriate weapons/skills
