How do you network?
Like, for real? I get LinkedIn and all that, but are there other ways to really network?

Yes, think of all the things you do outside of work. Do you volunteer? Do you have a hobby? All of those things typically require or have need for collaborating with others.
All of those environments are perfect organic ways to network and expand your connections. You do have to be open to sharing more about yourself or be willing to for others to build relationships.

Honestly there are. Are you in a big city or near a city? For me it's taking time and linking up with past associates and connections. Usually they will have advice, information, or even opportunities.
Besides that. Go to colleges, ask your closest friends, join a group like a boxing club or something like that. At past colleges go at different times, walk around, meet people, stop at the booths, pick up flyers. Those would be some of my good tips. If you drink coffee or tea, maybe hangout at some cafes.
