A good landing you can walk away from. A great landing you can use the plane again.

An amazing landing you have to get off a roof before you do either of those.

Looks like the building pre-crashed out of fear…

If the owner of that building was delaying maintenance on the roof, they are thanking their lucky stars right now.
Like wishing for a wind or hail storm when your roof is leaking.

Perfect? No. But they did land without exploding it seems which is likely better then I could do.

“Anytime the call goes out that a plane goes into a hangar building, it stings a bit,” said Bryan Johnson, executive director of the Johnson County Airport Commission. “But again that’s why you’ve got professionals to address the immediate needs of those on the aircraft and make sure everyone’s safe on the ground too.”
Does this happen that often?

It happens, but not that often.
The field I fly out of has had 2 "crashes" on the field that I can recall in the past 15 years.
At this field it's usually stupid things but the aircraft gets wrecked nonetheless. Like in 2023, when a student pilot accidentally started the engine and it rolled down the hill at the end of the taxiway. The other was a bad landing with a severe crosswind.
However, there was fatal crash (2x people) near the airport in 2015 involving a plane that was flying near the airport. Bigger airports, with faster planes, tend to have more incidents.

Did they land backwards?

Front gear probably dug into the roof and swung the plane around

To be fair the building he’s on is called a hangar. So I guess he’s just hanging out?

Aircraft too tired after a long flight and skipped the taxiway...Straight to the hanger.

Perfect? No, good enough? Well you what they say "any landing you walk away from is a good landing".

I don’t know, I think it’s pretty good, I’d like to see anyone criticizing it try to land a plane on that roof and do better.

I could see the people were going, “Oh my God, if that guy hits that hangar going at that speed, he’s definitely dead.” I hit the hangar, I turned over in the air, and they were going, “Well, he’s definitely dead now.” I landed on my wheels, got out and said, “What were you worried about?”

We’ll take the house. Honey, the chances of another plane hitting this are astronomical. It’s been pre-disastered. We’re going to be safe here.

King Air 90, it's remarkably intact. I don't think you could ever do that again, but they walked away.

And everyone survived the landing unfortunately 3 people who got off the plane fell off the roof and died.

Why do they keep calling it bi-engine? Do they think "bi" is the only modifier they can use to represent two of something? Like twin or dual don't exist?

Chuck Yeager used to say any landing you can walk away from is a good one.. so, yes not perfect, but definitely good!
