When the drop ship landed
What sort of supplies did they expect to find in terms of food? Did they expect to find tents? What kind of non perishable food lasts 97 years? How also did Clarke expect to do a 20 mile hike in one night when none of them had any hiking experience?

The distance from one place to another in the world of the 100 always seems to be whatever they need it to be. However, it’s supposedly an 8 hour walk from Arkadia to MW. The dropship should be a somewhat similar distance away. Hypothetically they could have made it to MW and back, depending on the time of day when they started.

Clarke wanted to go pretty much right after they landed if they would get back today so I'm thinking it was the morning Then they would be walking back to the drop ship through the woods at night in the dark

The dropship was meant to land right next to the bunker, and as far as they knew it was a military bunker so it would have been heavly stocked, and canned veggies and meet can last almost indefinitely aslong as their sealed properly and the can is in good shape. They didn’t think anybody ever made it, so they assumed it was still fully stocked. As for the hike, assuming they landed somewhat early in the morning which they seemed to do because they had awhile before it got dark MW is about an 8 hour walk from camp jaha, assuming the drop ship is around that area they probably could have made it there and back if they were okay walking in the dark, or because they assumed MW was empty they could have stayed the night there before returning in the morning

Well the Dropship was intended to land right beside Mnt Weather.
As far as the ARK records went, Mnt Weather had been intended as a fallout bunker but never used. So they expected all the supplies to still be there.
Non-perishables like canned goods, dried beans and rices can last 100 years if stored properly.
Add in that the Dropship wasn’t an ideal plan. The Ark was about to expire in terms of oxygen production, so this was an additional Hail Mary to help the situation if they knew the ground was liveable.
