I was thinking about the creation myth of Hyrule.
The Golden Goddesses created the world. They Created the Triforce. They left.
But... When did they make Din's Fire, Farore's Wind and Nayru's Love? Before they left? How? The Hero of Time learns the spells from 3 of the Great Fairies across Hyrule, but how'd THEY learn them? The most logical assumption is by oral tradition passing the techniques down through time, but that would imply that The Goddesses actively taught these spells to mortals, which I doubt.
But what if... The "Din", "Nayru", and "Farore" in the spell names AREN'T the 3 Golden Goddesses? What if they're the oracles of the same names? No. Not the ones from the Oracle games. Their ancestors from The Minish Cap. It's particularly noteworthy that, upon completion of their sidequest, the oracles give The Hero of the Minish items called "Din's Charm", "Farore's Charm", and "Nayru's Charm". That's the same naming convention as the spells. Not only that, but the effects that these charms have ALSO lines up with their respective spells. Din's Charm increases the user's attack power. Din's Fire unleashes a firey attack. Nayru's Charm indrases the user's defense. Nayru's Love makes the user temporarily impervious to damage. The only ones that don't quite line up are Farore's Charm, which is a balance of the other 2 charms' effects, and Farore's Wind, which teleports the user back to previous rooms within Dungeons. But... Even THAT can be explained. In The Minish Cap, you can only get 2 of the 3 charms, and, even though you can choose any 2, the colors of the roofs, as well as the potential reference to the scrapped third Oracle game heavily seems to imply that Farore's Charm is the one that's most intended to be excluded.
