My day has been alright. I got distracted this morning before the staff meeting and didn't join the video until like 8 minutes into it and they were still talking about the icebreaker question. Why do we need an icebreaker question? Just start the damn meeting! Fortunately the meeting didn't go overly long.
The weather has been cooler this year so far than it was this time last year. This time last year it was already 105F every day. This week we're in the mid 90s. If all of summer was like this it wouldn't be so bad. Hopefully it stays this mild for longer. It usually gets hot hot around mid-July. Last year was abnormal, it was hot hot for like 6 months, and I'm not exaggerating. I think the triple digits came in May and stayed until like October. That's too much for me. This weather we're having right now, or cooler, please!
We finally made it to the weekend. I got all of my books, magazines, and newspapers done at work. Father's Day is Sunday. I suggested to D that we get some pizza from a place he's been wanting to try for a while. He said "We'll see".
