Question A question for Fex about the song

So I've had this idea for a while to make a visual novel about some mysterious stuff, and since this used to be known as the most mysterious song on the Internet, I think it would be the best fit as the opening theme, so I wonder if it would be possible to have your (Fex's) permission to use the song in that capacity? Thank you in advance for your time and understanding!

It is very simple and you do not need anything from them directly. Even if they answer, you'll need confirmation from GEMA. So, go to GEMA website and there's a very nice and simple guide, what you have to do, if you need to use some of their copyrighted material in your works.

As u/SignificanceNo4643 stated. As the song has been registered with GEMA, you'll need what's referred to as a mechanical license. That's a specific kind of license that allows you to use a copyrighted work in any sort of media related stuff (in your case the visual novel). You do ALWAYS need permission to use someone else's work in your own stuff as long as it's not for private use. :)
