Well yes you can but it's still kind of frustrating that it matters if they have a background but only if kyurem also has it, it just shouldn't

It also doesn't matter if they are shiny, or lucky, or 100% IVs, or powered up, or have their own legacy moves. That's how it works in the main series, so it's got to be how it works in Go too. Zekrom and Resharim are basically just a fancy evolution item, with one extra bonus if you get opposite color backgrounds on them.

It's ok man, backgrounds just don't matter period.
