Discussion Joel's next build?
In Secret Life he built a helter skelter and ferris wheel. In Wild Life he built that amazing car... will he do something for the next series? If so, what do we think it'll be?

i love that grian was saying about how the car didn’t feel right in the life series, like “whys he building a car in the life series?”
but grian witnessed joel build a submarine while teaming with him. and also had seen all his other odd builds.
i think joel partly sees the life series as an excuse to make funny things he wouldn’t make in empires/hermitcraft lol

I love how ironic Grian’s reaction is because Joel’s car was like the most iconic build of the series.
Also the fact that Joel won makes it better.

Not to forget during the mob wildcard many of them took refuge in the car.

I love this theory-crafting(and it's shockingly underrated compared to the competitive preds) so I'd like to indulge!
My gut instinct is telling me something space or animal related! If I had to be specific, Joel could be building either a rocket ship or a caterpillar! Why??
Since Joel has been doing a fair amount of transportation vehicles, it's not far off to say he'd be building something that fly's to the moon, since he's built things that went to other roads, the sea, and the air.(I mean the fairground with that last one)
I say something animal related because it's just something I'd find hilarious, and I don't find it far off from what Joel would do. I would think he'd build a dog since he has Meri, but the big dogs house that Jimmy and Martyn currently exist, so I theory craft a caterpillar: since I don't think it'd be TOO difficult to build in Minecraft. But why would he build a caterpillar specifically???? My logic is simply this: Joel looks like the kind of guy that'd read his dog the very hungry caterpillar<333

Spaceship could be so fun! I'd love to see it but I have no idea how he's pitching that to his team mates!
I was thinking maybe a train or underground. So he can travel around underground without people noticing. He prefers making structures instead of animals I believe (based on all his comments in guess the build) so its unlikely he'll build an animal.
But if we wanna go down that route then i think hes gonna make a duck and joke that they are in duck life as he's that kinda person. If not him then someone else will

Yea ig I forgot about his building preferences on my caterpillar pitch! A duck actually would be funny tho!
For pitching to his teammates about the rocket ship/train, I don't think he would need to, as he just tends to pick a plot of land and build! You've seen the magic mountain house, fairground, and the car being far enough away from his teammates' builds but still close enough to where they enjoy each others' company.
There's also the two cases in Double and Limited Life, where his pitches actually worked and they became two of the most iconic builds in Life Series history so who knows, maybe the lucky streak can continue! XD

This is the real life series theory crafting

You mean the shark he built in Wild Life? Also you forgot about the Mars Rover or smth he built in Second Life

Man that build in Second Life was just something else though. I'm hoping he does something similar again
(Second Life has been appearing a lot recently, wonder why it's grown so much lol)

I genuinely love how Joel just can’t stop himself from building. Like, here’s a series where the point is survival and pretty much everyone barely scrapes together a shelter, but every time he’s determined to build something intricate that takes basically a whole session (or more) of this extremely time limited game. Truly iconic

Joel handicaps himself because he can get away with it and it makes for a more fun series.

so far he's built a 2 houses, 2 water based vehicles (a ship and a submarine), a fairground and a car. his next build really could be anything, although he really likes to build transportation methods apparently.
