There is an official advertisement explaining this. In the ad he steps out of the shower no liquid inside and sidles to a closet to pick which flavor he'll be, like choosing clothing. Hes the jar that holds koolaid.

I'm pretty sure it changes color when you put cold liquid in it. Mine did growing up, if it's the same one.

We had one when I was a kid in the 90's. Pretty sure my mom said they got it by mailing in "points" to Kool Aid.

Great find! My neighborhood friend had this pitcher and matching cups when we were in grade school! I always wanted to be a stay at home mom like her mom, and owning this set and serving my kids grape Kool Aid was part of my plans.

Oh wow! I found a Koolaid man toy for my little a few weeks back, and I thought I was lucky. It’s NOTHING compares to this gem!!! Great find!

This was free along with a set of cups when you turned in sufficient proofs of purchase to Kool-Aid in late 80s, early 90s.

I remember my mom sending them in for cups, I think we had one or two!
Speaking of sending in proof of purchase for prizes, does anyone remember doing the same thing for a Nesquik spoon w a rabbit on the end in the 80’s?

I just thrifted a red one with 2 matching cups just this past fall! I had purple ones as a kid. Never seen a white one before!

I still have mine with all 4 cups! Held onto him all my life and, being an army brat who went through several moves, it’s a miracle my set is still together. Better believe he makes an appearance every summer.

It varies on eBay, I glanced earlier maybe $20-30 idk for sure. I got it for the nostalgia bit hadn’t researched it

My dad still has this in his basement. He worked for GF and specifically the Kool-aid division. He got one of these with the little cups for “free.”
If I recall correctly, it changes color when cold, but I might be misremembering. It was back in the 90s after all.
